Universal Pilates Machine

Universal is in homage to the original Patent of Joseph Pilates “Universal Reformer”. For Joe P. I don’t have a clue as to what he thought Universal had to do with it, for us it is about making Pilates and the Apparatus more flexible, adaptable, and easier to fit into one’s life and work!

Pilates is self evident! But again, for us it is more than just the name of a”fad”

It is an adherence to and appreciation of authentic, classical pilates.

Machine,In this instance the reference is not to the Apparatus, but rather to ourselves! 

We are the Machine and the Heart that are building these pieces, this company, this future

Who are we?

Russell is the founder of Pilates Lineage a manufacturer of handcrafted specialty Pilates Apparatus.

Charlie is a cofounder of the Velochair an assistive mobility chair, that promotes an active lifestyle.

Joseph, as for myself, I’m a Pilates Instructor Barefoot Contrology Certified by Simona Cipriani. I’ve spent most of my life as a Photographer, and all of my life redesigning things that I thought could be improved

What we’re doing 

We want to make the Pilates practice more accessible to more people by:

-Being more affordable

-Ease, expense of shipping/moving

-Low maintenance, sustainable, adaptable

How are these things achieved?

Through the three words on our Logo: Design, Fabrication, Service

We’re leveraging each of those to bring about this goal
